Ive got a similar key Dilli in a tartan pattern (yeah it's Garish but it reflects my Scottish heritage I suppose - somewhere along the lines anyway) they're called Fun-keys and you can get loads of different designs.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
 for Russ' mate.
my happy thought - had my medical, seemed to go ok, though I think I shot myself in the foot with some answers... I won't hear about the 'result' for a few weeks. the doctor I saw said something odd though - I asked him at the end whether he thought I was fit for work, and he said basically no, but that wasn't the question he was addressing - it was whether I should be on that benefit or not? *crosses fingers*

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
Actually I just found out he's had a slight complication overnight as his temperature rose but he's ok. On the downside, training has been cancelled indefinately but everyone understands. It looks like he might be in the coma for 3 to 4 weeks but that's for his own good. So far so good though, the doctors are impressed with his progress.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
Just think of the stories he'll be able to tell when he's back on his feet
The final bit (so far) that's stopping me getting my 1.9TD back on the road has arrived today, so hopefully tonight I'll be finished!

This should now go onto pet hates. Getting my supplies so late now means I will be up to my eyebrows in canvas and gold foil all weekend. Hope my cough goes by tomorrow or I'll have to work in a face mask.
Good news will be that my clients are paying me when I deliver. Solvent again.
Jo
Russ, at least he is unaware of the situation, when they bring him round they will know more of his condition and by the time his is reorientated they may be able to give him some good news.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
In 1996 I started getting involved in music, helping the DJ at a local club. back then I heard this track I really loved but couldn't get hold of it because it was on white label (ie almost impossible to obtain unless you were Judge Jules). All through the summer it was in all the clubs, I knew what it was called and who by but there was no chance of getting it. When I moved to Oxford in 2001 I thought there might have been a chance then - but nope.
A year later I was seeing a girl who lived near Ministry of Sound and I thought I might be able to find someone there who could get it for me....but that wasn't going to happen.
I soon gave up and forgot about it. When I started at The Wave I went through the record library but it was too 'club' for local commercial radio. I asked all my contacts but eventually gave up.
Then this morning I'm chatting to some dodgy northern bird on msm who asked me to check out her MySpace....and that song was on there!! And after 11 years I've finally got a copy of Only You by Talizman!
Nice one Pia, if I could rep you a thousand I would

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
It's the weekend at last , & I'm about to tuck into a take-away curry, followed by a slice of "New York style" vanilla cheescake
