Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
There are moments when I just know that technology has left me far behind.
Druchii. You have just provided one of those moments. I don't understand a single thing that you have written in your last post. But I'm glad that you are happy.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
My happy thought of the day.Let my dog off the lead for the first time today, and she didn't run away. She was wonderful on recall and she had a great time running unhindered and chasing her ball around the field.
Can't tell you how much my heart was in my mouth when I unclipped the lead.I was really proud of her when we walked home.

Uptime is just that, how long the link has been "up". In this case, the "link" is my ADSL2+ connection to the net.Modulation is the modulation used to connect/talk with the outside world. Means next to nothing to me personally.Bandwidth is just that The connection speed in kbps. First set is upload second is download. Sooo... 18.9Mb down and 1.4Mb up
I normally only manage 16Mb down and 1.3Mb up

Druchii, Having now read your explanation I can confidently say that I am none the wiser, other than to realise that your new up/down is higher than your previously recorded 16.7/1.3mb.
Am I anywhere near to understanding your . ?

Hallelujah! It's stopped raining at last, and has allowed me to get on with the much needed weeding. Got some bedding plants in too, and yes Gaz, the tomato plants are coming on a treat.

Thats great news. If you find she is getting too far away from you shout her name then walk away, generally they come back thinking you're going to leave them - i'm sure she will, sounds like a good girl
My happy post is i'm off work until Tuesday 25th March So i might go into town tomorrow afternoon and celebrate St Paddys Day with a guiness or two
