Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
My son, darling boy, finally sorted my computer out and it's running stable enough to a deal with a decent security set up. I've installed Kaspersky anti-virus, 15mins into the initial scan, fingers crossed that there are no baddies lurking in the system.

.. ...So do I Jefferson, so do I. 79% done and nothing found yet.
Scan done and clear bill of health. I am definitely happy now.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
Just come back from a meal at the Ivy - part 2 of my wife's 40th birthday - part 1 was a night in very posh hotel last weekend that she's always wanted to stay in, and this weekend it was a trip to the Ivy, there and back in a stretched limo.
Was very pleased with the meal, I actually came away full up (last weekend we went the restaurant in the hotel - it was posh nosh meaning it was nice, but not a lot of it - and then when we went back to the room I had to order room service for dinner part 2) - and the food was really nice.
Saw a couple of (semi) famous people, namely Matt Lucas, and Dot Cotton (not together of course)

Aww nice one Mr_l_m, you certainly know how to treat a lady. Bet you got loads of brownie points for that! Didn't realise you were also a toy boy.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
It's not really a happy thought as such, but I found this in the back of the cupboard and it amused me
