Ive bit the bullet and finally ordered me a Q6600 G0 stepping will be here tomorrow . Had to be done I was unlikely to get one for christmas lol

Well done - you deserve it.
I am thinking of buying this for my birthday next month - well, you've got to treat yourself now and again. It has to be faster than my nearly six year old Athlon 1800+ with it's Nvidia 5500 256Mb graphics card  .
I wonder if I'll notice the difference in performance.......

Now if it was me id want a x38 mobo rather than the Abit but its gotta rock that machine

Claire called to say she had got a bumper pay packet this month so would I like to get myself a new laptop for my birthday tommorow. So I've just ordered myself a nice hp lappy from dabs which should be with me soon :-) yay.
2nd happy thought it allows me to order the 250gb sky plus box I've been after as well :-) double bonus.
3rd happy thought, Canadian Club whiskey reduce from £18.50 a bottle to £12 a bottle in Asda so got me one to try as I've been after some for years but thought it to dear to try.
4th happy thought folks came over at the weekend with a bottle of Jack Daniels single vat :-)
