Magnets!
I wasn't sure whether to put this in Lifestyle or IT so I'll put it here for now.
This coming Wednesday I shall be driving oop North with 2 PCs, a couple of TFT screens and a laptop along with clothes, bedding, etc. I would put the PC's and screens in the car's boot, however the Parcel Shelf has 2 rather large magnets on the bottoms of the speakers.
What would you advise?

Re: Magnets!
no probs for the screens - magnets don't affect TFT screens - only those with CRTs.
The PCs should be fine too unless the magnets a huge!

Re: Magnets!
wrap them in tinfoil, that way you can protect them from alien space beams as well.
I don't think you really have too much to worry about they would have to be huge magnets to have an effect

Re: Magnets!
Put the PC base units between the front seats and the back seats so they are wedged in.

Make sure the south poles are pointing towards the front of the car. Don't get too close to other vehicles.

So that's where "Crinkley Bottom" is.
Is your other nickname "Russell"?

Re: Magnets!
OK thanks so far. So the screens will be OK in the boot? Face down or? How would you secure them etc?

Re: Magnets!
Can't you just take the parcel shelf out and leave it at home
