I'm jealous because I actually can't draw, at all. Couldn't wait to get rid of Art because it was about the only thing i was rubbish at. (No offence)

That's parents getting in on the act...some of her earning go to charity apparently.She may well need some funding for college.
And two books of art work is hardly anything to get concerned about.
As for the poor poetry that's not why she is a child prodigy after all.

Fine but it's your loss.As far as I can see it's the usual american love of cuteness and tweedom. IF you can get over your preconcieved notions..and at 54 I'm far more cynical than you are....you will find a child that is just advanced for her age being manipulated by greedy adults.
Of course IF you think you are that obviously easily manipulated don't go past the first page.

Outstanding art work - I just need to get my blood sugar checked after reading the accompanying text/poetry.
I initially thought that there was no way an eleven year old could write that well (by which I mean the structure and usage of language, not the content), then I realised if she could paint so well, why not?.
