New Compressor

Bought a new compressor yesterday from Machine Mart in Mansfield This one for £305, basically I'd outgrew my old compressor so I thought I'd treat myself to a bigger and better one. I got it home last night read the instruction manual to the word plugged it in and nothing, not a sound was coming from the machine, this morning I'm taking it back along with all the other stuff I bought with it like the air hose and all the connections I purchased, now Machine Mart haven't got the best reputation when it comes to customer care like we'll sendit back to the manufacturer in Italy so it can be fixed, that won't do I want my money back so I can go elsewhere so I'm bracing myself for a longhaul argument in the shop this morning.

Wish me luck folks.

Re: New Compressor

Did you switch it on and press the trip reset button ?

Somebody had to say it

Btw you should get a full refund as it does not suit the purpose it was purchased for <<(from trading standards)
And its was knackered from new <<(from me)

Re: New Compressor

Got it sorted folks, went down this morning with the aformentioned machine, I went in and told them that the machine wasn't working right, they said have you had it on it's side? No. Did you fill it with oil? Yes. Have you dropped it in anyway? No. They plugged it in and it didn't work, it blew the fuses behind the counter in the shop, the motor didn't kick in it just buzzed then died, they swapped it for me after they'd gone over it with a fine tooth comb.

Cheers for the number mate, you have to be careful when buying a compressor because you can buy one then get it home and it won't power the tools.
