Petition against MORE parking charges
If it happens in Manchester,it can happen in other places

Manchester city council are proposing to charge for parking 24/7. At present there is a certain amount of free parking at evenings and weekends. Truth is,they are just money grabbers and are using green issues as a smokescreen to fleece the public even more. There is a petition against this. Dont leave it to others YOU sign it

We've had to pay for 24/7 parking in certain places for several years

Waste of breath.
The local council here kicked up a stink when GNER increased car park charges by 83% last year. However they promptly responded with a 20% increase in on-street charges...

The lure of the money proved too strong..
