Anyone been to Cuba?
Anybody been there, me and the misses are going this summer.
We have booked flights only at the moment and are planning to goto Havana for a week then off to one of the beach hotels.
Any recommendations for Hotels? How to get about? Is it easy to get to Havana from Havana airport? Are Taxi's expensive / readily available? Could we get to Varadero quite easily?
Any help would be appreciated.

lol. I'd be happy just to go somewhere warmer than here! sightseeing or whatever is a bonus. I picked up some brochures today to be told that they don't have carrier bags in thomas cook anymore!  cuba does seem quite nice though. I'll add it to the list!

My parents stayed in the Cayos and loved it. Not sure which hotel though.
