Flies

Ever since my rodent problem I have had flies in the house. In the past 5 hours I have killed/sprayed 10 flies atleast.

Apart from spray is there anything I can do?

Cheers

Re: Flies

I love punching them out of the air

But on a serious note, try to find out whats attracting them to your house and get rid of it.
Simmering on the cooker vinegar always helped my mum keep flies out of the kitchen when we lived in Africa.....

A few months back we had a rodent problem which the council came out and laid out poison. I guess it died but it has died under the floor boards so we cant remove it.

It only takes a few weeks for a mouse to fully decompose, so I would suggest, something else is attracting them

The poison they use to kill rodents kills them in such a way that the corpse doesn't really smell; so there is no need to remove it.

Re: Flies

Might it not be 'attracting' them that's the problem? Something decomposing = maggots = flies?

Re: Flies

Are flies attracted by jam or syrup? I know bees and wasps are.

If they are they should get stuck in there and die.
