Re homing dog

i need to re-home a dog which my wife and i are fostering until she can find a new home , i have contacted rescue centres and put a few adverts out but was wondering whether i could put some information on here ,, is that allowed ??

---------- Post added at 11:02 ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 ----------

Ok seeing as no one seems to know , i gonna go for it , if it is not allowed the mods can delete it (i apologise in advance if it is not)

This is Tara , she is a 2 1/2 year old pure bred staffordshire bull terrier , she has a lovely temperament and is good with other dogs (we are fostering her with my male sbt and they get on fine) , unfortunately her owner is moving to Thailand but i do not want her to go into kennels.

if anyone is interested then please pm me and i will pass on my details for you to get in touch, she is in the north west area but i would be willing to let her go further away for the right home

obviously she is free of charge all i ask in return is that she gets lots of love and attention

here is a short video of tara and my dog zak after playing they are both exhausted

Re: Re homing dog

Hi there - i went thru the exact same thing a few years ago with my own dog absoloutely heart breaking

Anyway, did you know there is a staffie rescue centre in the lakes? Not sure where exactly but a friend of mine told me about it (after i'd already re-homed my own dog!) and apparently they are very happy to take on any others.

http://www.sbtrescue.org.uk/index.htm here are the details and good luck with it

Just check out your vids and pic - she looks like a lovely dog, i'm going to speak to my other half. We have an 8 year old staffie male who looks very similar to your own one

Thanks for the reply , i have been in touch with sbt rescue but would prefer her not to go into kennels , it depends how long we are going to foster her for i have put a month time limit on having her otherwise i will send her there , i would love to keep her myself but unfortunately money is just too tight

Just realised your dog is called Zak - so is mine! Check out his pic - lots of similarities

With regards to other staffie, i've passed on the info you've given us up above to a friend who runs dog training classes and has lots of contacts in the business. Would you mind PM'ing me an e-mail address or contact telephone number?

I'd love to have her, but ours is still an entire male and would not take too kindly atm.

Re: Re homing dog

Lovely looking dog, had it been a month or so later I would have gladly have taken her on, just waiting to move into my new house ( solicitors )

She would have been good company for my jack russel cross

Ah well, such is life
