OK what do I do?

Ok, I had a row with my mother last night, which ended up in her trying to glass me with a pint glass in the neck.

Fortunatly the glass only cracked and did not shatter hence the reason why I am still here.

Now here is the quandry, what do I do about this? Do I report this to the police? We had both had a few drinks and she has never done anything like this before. Also, stupidly I gave the offending pint glass back to my father when I left for home this morning after a night in the car.

I have no marks, and no physical evidence.

What do I do?

Sleep over it mate... Discuss it with her in a couple of days...

If you have no marks and no physical evidence it will be difficult to prove anything - if that's the way you want to go.
I think you need to talk to her at least, if you don't then whatever caused this will just get worse.

Go back and make up, and as you are huggin spin her round for a good few kidney punches, make sure you get your weight on the back foot to enable the power to come through better..

I agree with Chimaera. This must be much more than a pain in the neck (no pun intended) for both of you. You have to talk it over.

Thanks for all the advice, it's probably best that I do nothing I guess bearing in mind that I have no evidence etc...

Just needed a double check to make sure I was right!

Well at least talk to her - you only have one Mum! Even if you don't sort out whatever started this off in the first place, you will have made the first move - and the longer you leave it, the harder it gets.

if I was you and I had my own place, I would not speak to her again regardless of the drink..... if she can do that to her own flesh and blood........

And who do you think was to blame? Something must have been said to make her want to glass you?!!

I couldn't imagine my old mam doing that to me. Of course it's easy to pass judgement on an internet forum although I have to say it would certainly make me question what sort of relationship we would have in the future, I think I'd at least threaten her with the prospect of prosecution, in the hope it makes her consider the consequences of her actions, if nothing else

I do not get drunk with my mum. she's on more meds than me! not a good idea. I used to drink a lot when I was going to gigs, but now a couple of drinks and I'm gone...
