Vodafone call catcher

okay, i got a sony erricsson k510 for xmas and im getting texts from the service saying that someone has been trying to call me, the thing is that i havent even given out the number yet and the phone is new. Do you thnk that this person has just got my number instead of someone elses or have call catcher f**ked up?

I'd say its probably due to the previous owner. Phone numbers are recycled quickly, especially at Christmas, so its probably people trying to chase the previous owner (again, especially as its Christmas, wanting to pass on Xmas wishes, etc).
