Re: [MERGED] James Brown Has Died
That's a bummer, he had more soul in his little finger than a hundred of today's so called soul singers. Thanks James.

Re: [MERGED] James Brown Has Died
Anyone see that clip of him singing with Joss Stone a few years ago on the Jonathan Ross Show? Their voices were made for each other, shame they didn't release it.
edit: found it.. http://profile.imeem.com/kVIbT/video...n_medley_live/
You can see how star-struck she was, performing next to a man like him.

I missed that one, did you see the BBC 4 session he did this year?. Sure could shake his thang even at 73.

Re: [MERGED] James Brown Has Died
The man was a true legend. I was lucky enough to see him live a few years back supporting the Chili Peppers in Cardiff. He was the highlight of the show.
RIP Soul Man.

Re: [MERGED] James Brown Has Died
I can't believe he's gone It seems like only last week when I went to the BBC Electric Proms for his concert. He was the best soul performer there ever was.
RIP MR BROWN

I saw him when he supported the Chillis at the City of Manchester Stadium and he rocked the crowd, he'll be sadly missed
