Our pressy came a little late this year, 3.15am boxing day to be precise, we got a couple burglars delivered through a window.
But as luck has it, I didn't go to bed till 3.10am and it was my cat that alerted me (ears pricked up etc and I'm partially deaf so I didn't hear them), I went into the living room in my boxers and caught one half in/out the window. As soon as they saw me they bolted as fast as anything. In the morning police found fingerprints etc so hope that helps them. The main thing is that nothing was missing or damaged but was still scarey as hell just the same.
I was one of those people that thought it wouldn't happen to me, so please take a little extra care to make sure you're doing all you can to stop these lowest of the low scumbags from taking an interest in your property.
I refuse to let it spoil my Christmas though.

yeah I got something nice by the side of my bed for such occasions. Anyone breaks into my house and im in then I treat them as threatening my life and wouldnt stop till they aint moving and bugger the consequences
