Faulty Printer Cartridge

Just opened a new HP colour cartridge and it doesnt work.

Loads of rattles when you shake it

The trouble is i've had it a few months as i always get a new one shortly after i've just used the spare to make sure i dont forget to get a replacement.

Any ideas on how i can get it replaced without a receipt?

go buy another of the same type, open the box carefully and replace with the faulty one, take it back get a refund

ill be doing this as i like to have a spare ready for when it runs out
