New Mobile Phone
hi all, I have a SE T610i now for the past 4 yrs, and just at the weekend, the screen cracked, coincidently i was thinking of getting a new phone myself also.
Any how, I do not want to spend anything over £150 and would prefer PAYG.
The phone needs to have Bluetooth, be able to play mp3 and video clips, with a camera also.
I dont mind the manufacturer, but preference would go to SE.
I was looking at the Lobster 700TV.
Any one recommend a better phone?

Re: New Mobile Phone
This may be good for you if you're on Vodafone PAYG?

Re: New Mobile Phone
If you want to spend around £150, you could get contracts that would be around that a year AND give you a free phone. The advantage being that you would get free minutes and texts on a contract. So it could well work out cheaper.
If you do I recommend either the Sony Erricson K800i or the Nokia N73

Re: New Mobile Phone
Another vote for K750i. You should be able to pick 1 up for around £90.
Tesco have the K750i for £80 and the W810i for £150.

Re: New Mobile Phone
I'll give the K750i another vote - absolutely top class phone. Got mine from Virgin about 4 months ago for 100 quid (or there and thereabouts), and it's the best phone I've had. Sound quality for the music's really good, and the 2Mp camera fantastic quality for a phone.
Mrs Nug's got the W810 which is just as good, but probably a little outside your price range (depending on where you look). I'd go for the K750

can you not flash the k750i with the w810 firmware? Apart from cosmetically, the hardware is the same.

Is this unlocked, as I would like to keep my existing number with the Virgin contract that I have at the minute.
I was in the Virgin Store last night looking, and they have the 750i @ £150.

I once emailed Tesco asking the same question and they said it was locked to Tesco.

Re: New Mobile Phone
You can unlock it yourself though or you can get it done at some independant mobile shops. I did my last SE one myself (cost EUR10) with the help of http://www.davinciteam.com/
