Proud to have never done it
What are you proud to have never done?
I've never taken recreational drugs and proud of it.
I've also never parachuted and never intend to. There seems little point.

I've never taken recreational drugs either, nor have i ever touched a cigarette, which I am really proud of considering all but the youngest in my family smoke.

Re: Proud to have never done it
I have never taken "recreational" drugs, I take too many prescription ones to want to lol.
There are so many things I have never done nor would ever want to

Nope, that's just an excuse.
I've never taken 'recreational' drugs, never will, and certainly don't regret it.

Not for me, it's not an excuse. I don't need to have an excuse to do anything. If I want to do something and it brings no harm to anyone else, I'm going to do it. I just know I'll regret it otherwise. And besides, I'd rather 'I wish I hadn't done that' in my mind rather than 'what if I'd done that?' instead.
And yes, I've done recreational drugs. Quite enjoyed them. But packed them up when I wasn't responsible for just myself anymore.

Re: Proud to have never done it
I've nver done recreational drugs either. Something I am quite glad of. Especially considering I know someone who has Schizophrenia, which the doctor said was triggered by a massive amount of cannabis (a supposedly "safe" recreational drug).

No drug is safe, even prescribed drugs for the right reasons. Anyone who thinks any drug is safe is a bit of a dimwit really. The only thing that cannabis 'isn't' is physically addictive.
Getting out of bed in the morning and crossing the road has it's own dangers. I guess it's just a personal perception on doing 'dangerous' things and how far you're prepared to push yourself, whether it be recreational drugs or bungee jumping.

Isn't alcohol a recreational drug? Certainly in the literally sense, although its legal.

Don't get me wrong. I know the dangers. I said supposedly safe because a lot of people do automatically assume Canabis is safe. They seem to have the idea that it leaves you stoned and giggling insanely, but there are no long term effects. Which, TBH is pretty much the effect it has on most of my friends.
Also, I don't personally object to drugs. I believe that, within reason and as long as they are forewarned of dangers, people should be allowed to smoke, do drugs, drink etc. I just choose not to do drugs myself. I do, however, drink a lot..
