good site for foodies or planning food on a trip
www.1seriesgfr.co.uk
I guess its advertising the car, but its an incredibly comprehensive and useful site. plus the info is all in a free book -the good food ride.
Basically its full of good, interesting, unusual places to eat all over the uk with details and reviews, there are route maps with food stop offs marked and reviews of the places and you can search by destination, area , postcode.
you can also download and print the info or maps .
looks like there are podcasts as well but I haven't investigated these yet.

it's really comprehensive isn't it I wasted way to much time on it today but found an interesting pub in yorkshire that I think my parents will like-they do the proper yorkshire puds with mince and onion gravy.
Also wigan football ground is in there for it's meat pies, can't remember the figure but im sure it was in excess of 18,000 pies sold on a match day.

You, sir/madam/hermaphroditic person (please delete as necessary),
need to get your avian companion to a vet immediately, if it's glot has blood in it.
