Re: When do you start playing Xmas songs
As I play in a concert band, I am amazed that the Christmas music has not yet come out, but I am sure it will soon...
As to playing it at home - I always wait until at least mid december - preferably after my birthday ....
I am sure there are shops that are already playing it though... (not heard of one myself yet, but there is bound to be at least one major store doing do.)

Re: When do you start playing Xmas songs
not yet according to the wife, whenever i start to sing one (even in the hight of summer) she says "out of season shut up" and she's still saying it to me now! so i'll wait to keep the peace, as usual!

Re: When do you start playing Xmas songs
When gran isn't signing the home papers - strap her down and dig out "White Christmas". May even get the will changed. The baliffs - an hour or two in the cellar with Slade on repeat and your debts will be gone. The mother-in-law - tough old cow but a few hours of carols from Kings and she'll be on her way to Australia.

It's always too soon for Xmas songs. Unless you're talking about Claw Boys Claw's rendition of 'Jingle Bells', but I suspect you're not.
