Winter
Bit nippy at the moment - winter's definitely here. Stuff global warming - I'm warming my bedroom 2KW heater on full. Had to get the thick duvet out the wardrobe last night. Swapped the summer fan for the fan heater.
So - cold where you are? Are you burning the floorboards? Keeping warm in the absence of a loved one?

Re: Winter
Perhaps someone can tell the big bloke upstairs to turn off the aircon?

Re: Winter
Yep it's gone cold, and it's my favourite time of the year. The air is cleaner, and there was a really nice sun set when I left work. The light is also amazing at times, and shows up all the autumn colours on the trees etc.

Re: Winter
I know the feeeling !!!
My girlfriend lives in an old house and there is no radiator in the bathroom.
It's awful having a shower in the morning.
Although it is freezing cold, I love the atmosphere in winter too. The trees are lovely colours, the air is crisp.
It's one of the season's I enjoy most, even if it is extremely cold at times and I get frozen standing for the bus every morning.

Re: Winter
It's certainly a bit chilly out. Not looking forward to cycling to work at 6:30 in the morning.

Just waiting for it to get a bit colder, then I think I'll go camping.

And a jumper and socks! Also have a blanket as favoured by the homeless - lovely and warm.

No heating here other than the gas fire in the living room and a broken gas heater in the bedroom (hence my fan heater). Bitterly cold on a morning.

Re: Winter
Until 2004, I'd never lived in a house with central heating. Always had a small heater that I moved from room to room lol

Re: Winter
I love winter tbh. Its uncontrollible heat i cant stand. I would much rather experance the cold snaps from last winter than the heat waves we had in summer.

Agreed. At least in Winter, if you're cold you can put more clothes on. In summer you're stuck with swearing from your eyeballs. I hate hot weather!

Me neither. Stuck a foot out and felt the icy draft, so I retracted it sharpish. The heater is remote control, so I put it on and nodded off. Was nearly late for work - one minute to spare
I prefer it cool - summer is too hot, and winter is too cold. It's rarely just right.

Re: Winter
Yes, it's freezing. I was sitting in my coat earlier on, it was that cold. Will lock the duvets together to make the 13.5 one next time i change the covers.
