Royal Mail Problem

I've had so many problems with the Royal Mail recently. A few things I have bought off E-Bay have not arrived so I find myself writing to the sellers who say they posted the Items, not that I have any reason to doubt them.

I also bought something that I needed to send back, It cost me £23.00 so I sent it back 1st Class Recorded Delivery. It has been 16 Days and no sign of it.

I rang up the number on the reciept and they told me they could compensate me with 2 Books of first class stamps. This is a joke, I never write to anyone, what the hell would i want with Stamps? I dont know what to do about this, its not on.

I wouldn't accept that for a start - they kept losing my mobile phone bills which I was sending recorded delivery for reimbursement. I got compensated and I ddin't really lose anything as I was only sending copies.

I would ask to speak to a manager, tell them you want to make a complaint and you want compensating for the amount the item was worth - you will need to provide some proof i'm sure. Good luck.

First I would contact the sellers to ask if they used a trackable method of postage,
If they didn't then I don't know what to suggest, except next time make sure that you pay a little extra to be able to track the items in transit, or at least insure them for their actual value, that way you have a way to recover the money at least.

i dont like this royal mail lark, they are out of order

they have lost countless item of my mail, I think they now only employ illiterate or blind people because they do seem unable to read clearly printed addresses. the number of times other people in the street have got got my letters is a joke, one time they didn't even manage to get the right town.
when they do manage to get it through the correct door it is often opened.
it got so bad at one point I was collecting it myself from the sorting office.

I can't wait for an alternative service.

I sent two items to the same address (due to the weight) and would you adam and eve it one was returned with a sticker stating INCORRECT ADDRESS even though I printed both labels the same and it took them over 9 weeks to refund the postage.
