Vodaphone upgrade

Hi
I am due for a upgrade in 2weeks last year i got my free upgrade (D600) through TheLink. vodaphone wanted £100 for the upgrade. Problem now is that CPW has brought some or all TheLink stores But now Vodafone drops Carphone for Phones4u in UK deal so no upgrade there

I am looking to upgrade to D900 but i know vodaphone will ask for fee.I am on 1000 X net @ £35 for the last 3years. Anyone know any other networks that do not charge for upgrade

Re: Vodaphone upgrade

Just tell them you will take your custom elsewhere - worked for me with O2! If you were going to another service provider, I thought you got a phone for free anyway, depending on tariff?
I've always been happy with O2 (for the past 6ish years, till I upgraded last time - now their mistakes have been corrected with lots of incentives for me to stay with them!) Have a look on the various websites and see what's on offer?

Re: Vodaphone upgrade

I did it this year with Vodafone. They wanted £250 for an N80, and I knew I could get it for £100. So I told them I wanted to cancel and sent the letter.

Lo and behold, I get a call offering it me for £100.

Work on them for a bit and be prepared to go through with it.
