Detention?
Well, I had my first detention today, and i must say, it's highly overrated, haha, and i also found out one of my friends has never had detention before, and she says i can't give her a detention through making her late for classes, so i gotta come up with some creative way to stick her in detention, haha, anyone got any good, plausible ideas?

Re: Detention?
Only ever had one detention... For forging a note That was about 3years ago, and oddly, i did the most work i'd ever done sat in the library on my own... Pity it was P.E. crap.
And no, the note wasn't for me, i liked P.E. Even if i was rubbish at most things

Re: Detention?
Hmm! We had the choice of detention or the ruler..I went for the ruler as it was over quicker.
So of course the really sadistic staff just did detentions.

Re: Detention?
I only remember getting one detention. Reason was because I was about to hit someone with a 1 metre ruler because the guy kept annoying me. I *SHOULD* have hit him too

Detentions were wasted on me, really, because I was a boarder, so 'staying behind' usually just involved a bit of rectangle litter picking until tea-time.
The caning was a bit more of a problem, mainly because after receiving the 'cuts', we were expected to stand up, turn round & say 'thankyou sir' to show we appreciated the punishment was for our own good.
- depending on the enthusiasm of the caner & the proximity to puberty of the canee, it was sometimes difficult not to have a voice wobble, during that formality
