Why thank you very much everyone.
It's the big 39 today. I say big as I do not intend to deviate from that age for several years now. I may even miss the whole of my forties and start again at fifty!

Be warned a friend of mine tried that, unfortunately the local club insist on 'doing stuff' for members birthdays it was all going fine at his party until someone produced a cake and another member piped up with 'Weren't you 48 last year Norm' despite his denials the woman would not shut up and eventually went home to get photos of the previous years offending cake
Anyway have a good one

That's it now.... My daughter bought me on of those old man wool cardigans with the big leather buttons and the pretty lady I just smiled at in the supermarket gave a very bewildered look followed by a sympathetic half smile. I'm off to the local clinic to book my Botox injections after work tonight!!
