Question New Phone

Right..

I need a new phone as my o2 contract runs out soon.

There is one factor that it has to have, It has to be able to block numbers, not just put them on slient but block them so I don't even see them ring.
Not even sure you can get a phone to do that.

The reason is that I am being bothered a lot with cold callers, and yes I have done everything the book to stop it.

Regd with the phone preference service, used whistles I liked that, left them talking for ages, hung up, swore, reported it to o2 they told me to change the number!! I said if I do that I will goto Vodaphone.

Anyone got any ideas?

Re: New Phone

AFAIK there isn't a way you can do it.

Depending on which phone you have, you can set it up so that you are only alerted by calls from numbers in your address book, or a certain group that you select. This is the best you can do as far as i know.

Re: New Phone

the SE K800 you got the option to block all calls that are not on your phonebook. I havent tried the service myself but I know that you can use it.

Re: New Phone

Get a Nokia S60 phone (N70 or similar) and you can get an app like Blacklist which you can blacklist any or all numbers as required.
