Pillows
Recently, I have been suffering serious back and neck pain first thing in the morning. A friend recommends that i change my pillows as that could be my problem.
Any recommendations for a decent pillow??
Thanks All

Re: Pillows
Not cheap, but I'd recommend memory foam pillows. And mattresses too, for that matter.
We found http://www.memory-foam-warehouse.co.uk reliable.

Re: Pillows
I agree about the memory foam pillows - Costco have them in, if there is one near you.
Good luck

Re: Pillows
Ikea do some nice pillows. They come in a tight sausage and magically spring to full size when you undo the plastic - worth buying just for the fun of unwrapping

Re: Pillows
Last night I dreamt that I was eating this huge marshmallow. When I woke up I'd ate half my pillow. It's true!
I would agree, change your pillow, but also make sure you have a stiff bed/mattress/woman to lie on.

Re: Pillows
if your getting back ache as well as neck ache you might also want to consider getting a new matress (they dont last forever)
You should ensure that your matress and pillow support you so that your neck and spine are all in line and not bent

Re: Pillows
Ikea do a range of shaped pillows, the cheapest of which has stopped neck pain for my son... but I think it's all down to whether you sleep on your back or your side...

Re: Pillows
Definately look in to changing pillows. It can do you the world of good.
Also make sure that the pillow is not too high up. Make sure your body is nice and straight.
You might want to check out your mattress too as if it is old it may make you dip in the middle and a firmer mattress may be more comfortable for your back.

Re: Pillows
Both my physio and chiro (I don't recommend falling down the stairs) advised me to change to one pillow so my head was not too high up as this would make my spine out of line or something like that and I do actually think its helped.
