Can someone recommend a company to supply a front door?

I am thinking about getting my front door changed, with one of those new re-enforced uPVC jobs you get from double glazers.

Before I whizz around getting quotes, are there any companies people can recommend? Cheap prices, quick installation times, great service, etc?

I am in East London, if it matters (for local companies)

Thanx in advance.

Could try looking here for a local reputable company
http://www.homepro.com/
Got anyone in the local area with a nice new door fitted that might be able to give you a name?

Normally the same companies and fitters doing both so if you find a neighbour who has good things to say about a company I would look into them. Word of mouth is worth a lot more than expensive adverts any day

I got my builder from that site - I could send him round if you like, he lives in Canning Town. I know he would do a good job of re-fitting my kitchen and bathroom the minute he arrived to do the quote. The fact that he was weraing shorts and had lovely legs had nothing to do with it!

Re: Can someone recommend a company to supply a front door?

Could you PM his number please? Thanx muchly

B&Q do sell them, but I want all the frames done as well. What makes life more difficult is that I have a small set of windows going down the side of the door with the letter box, so I think its going to have to be a custom job by one of the big companies. Trouble is, they all seem to end up on Watchdog
