Reminds me of something I saw on Clive James on TV years ago - he was commenting on French TV adverts. It went something like:

Can't see any problem with that
I don't know why they drape women over gadgets though, they must realise that a lot of blokes are just wondering what features are being covered up by the model (features of the gadget obviously.....  )

It also reminds me of the Dilbert cartoon where Dilbert and Wally are listening to a sales pitch by a female vendor and saying something like "why should we buy from you when your product is more expensive and does less than your competitors?"
She replies "True, but I am the most attractive female who has paid attention to you for ages!"
