Trading in games for credit into Gamestation?

Does anyone here know much about trading in games for credit into the Gamestation store? I mainly wanna know what I'm gonna need with me (besides the games I want to trade in & my credit card of course) like ID maybe?

Also, how much would I get for credit there if I sold say:

WWE SmackDown! Vs. Raw
Tekken 4
Hitman: Contracts
Soul Calibur 2
Dragonball Z: Budokai 2
Need For Speed: Underground
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Re: Trading in games for credit into Gamestation?

Its impossible to answer a question like that, it depends on the condition of the games, the mood of the salesperson on the day etc.

The only way to get an idea is to phone your local gamestation, but the only way to know for sure is to take them in and try.

Welcome to the forum You will find that you will get very little for them and as such may be better selling them on Ebay or something

Popularity of game makes affect also, I remember in the days of SNES I commited fruad by putting uk alladin label over the japanese axelay and sticking in alladin box getting £20 for a normal £5 trade in.

Re: Trading in games for credit into Gamestation?

I always trade games at Gamestation, and have never needed any ID (although, as I understand it, you'd need ID if you were selling games to them).

As has been said, the amount you may get will depend on the age of the game - I've had anything from 3 quid to 25 quid for a traded game, so it's pretty much the luck of the draw! Having said that, they always run the games through the till, so they obviously have a database of prices.

Oh, and by the way

Re: Trading in games for credit into Gamestation?

Doesn't affect me though, I can't use my credit card on ebay or paypal, they won't accept it for some reason, so I'm using amazon instead
