Does anybody have any unusual or interesting hobbies that are worth a mention?

Re: Hobbies
No
I don't have the time or the energy, plus I get bored easy. I can usuall be found helping people - today I'm assisting in erecting a fence. Last week, I was rewiring an aerial. Saturday I did a bit of gardening - bag of slate, few plants, sorted. Not sure if you would call this a hobby

Re: Hobbies
I wouldn't say my hobbies were "unusual" but:
Poker (online and in RL, when I can)
Collecting Comic Books (although I've been meaning to eBay the lot for ages now - need the money)
Learning (Sad, I know, but I'm a real knowledge magpie)
Flying (although I don't get to do it very often)
PCs (that's the geek in me coming out)

Re: Hobbies
Needlework! :o
All sorts - cross stitch, patchwork, quilting, crochet (especially the fine stuff using hooks as small as pin heads) and I have been known to knit! I might eventually get round to doing those 'scoubidou' things one day too - I have the 'string'!
There - that's all my street cred blown in one confession.
Gardening too - but that's not really unusual.

Re: Hobbies
Restoring three wheel microcars
(Bond Bugs, Bond Minicars, Isetta, Berkeley, Piaggio, Reliant etc)
Mechanical Engineering
(Workshop with lathes, milling machines, shaper, cutter grinder etc)
Amateur Radio/Electronics
(Full test equipment facilities for mainly RF construction)
What I really lack is time, I so wish I could win the lottery and spend my life doing what I enjoy most.

I am often found helping people - I've been fixing up my dads car so he can sell it this weekend. Next, i'm putting Network cable through my mum's office.
Otherwise, its sailing, thinkering with cars/computers, cycling when i can. Pretty mundane really.

Re: Hobbies
I collect electrionic equipment service manuals, although I'm not sure if its a hobby or because I prefer to fix things than throw them away & buy new ones.
Who's going to admit to collecting toenail clippings & belly button fluff?

Re: Hobbies
Just painting,drawing,calligraphy,crochet,reading,3D computer art,my website(which I must work on this week). Not got much time for most of it at the moment but come those 6 weeks summer hols...
Frankly if it wasn't for those six weeks when I can pursue my interests I think I'd go mad...
Other nations laughs at us Brits because of our hobbies(especially the more eccentric ones) but I think it's what keeps us sane.
