I'm assuming you're thinking of a Further Education college here.
It might be worth looking at a GNVQ course, which works from Level 1 (when completed = 4 x GCSE) to Level 3 (when completed = 2 x A-Level)
I suggest that you go visit your college of choice and talk to one of their admissions staff who can advise you on what courses are accesible to you and which routes you can take. You won't have to decide there & then, but you'll have a much better idea of what is available.
Look here
http://www.huddnewcoll.ac.uk/courses/contents.asp for the examples of courses and the qualification they lead to.
Also check out information on Foundation courses, as you may need to do one of those first if you don't have any GCSEs.

In that case, steer well clear of any computing courses!
Making a career in IT is more difficult these days, and really requires more than an 'interest' in computers.
Check out what kind of money people with a trade are making, and you might well be surprised!
