business eh.... are you clever ? if you have the qualifications then suck up to a big bank or telecommunications firm, get an apprenticeship and earn some real money, when you have earned your money and propped yourself up by achieving more then go gallivanting around the world....
or alternatively if you are a smart arse just go for a job search on the internet, browse the sites and see what tickles your fancy.

Re: What to do when i graduate?
Why dont you go to an agency such as www.adecco.co.uk
and sign up with them, they are always looking for staff, I stayed on and did my BSC no regrets, plus I got a better paid job. Travelling is a good idea but you have to think hard about it, I have a lot of friends who have come earlier than expected because they had ran out of money .
Edit (Paul) - Link fixed.

A nephew of mine went walkabout for several months after he graduated and just before landing a job. Asia and Austraila. He saved a little, begged a lot and meticulously planned it for the lowest cost/maximum enjoyment.
It's amazing what you can live on when you've been used to living as student.
In the 70's/80's students would hitchhike across Europe etc but that's just too dangerous to recommend these days.

Re: What to do when i graduate?
Yeah but it is a case of beg steal or borrow and I could not do that, You need to get a lot of money behind you and getting a foot on the career ladder will not hurt you, why dont you go and see if you can go and work abroad for a wee while, it will do your CV the world of good as it shows you are willing to go that extra mile and employers like that!

Re: What to do when i graduate?
Tourism management eh?! I'd avoid retail travel as a general rule; pitiful wages and shoddy treatment, plus general uncertainty, certainly on the High Street. You might want to see if they're recruiting at Travel Counsellors HQ in Bolton though. Good, ambitious company growing very fast. www.travelcounsellors.com I think.

Re: What to do when i graduate?
i was supposed to be going with my boyfriend but that went a bit t*ts up so i'm now in the process of rethinking everything, it's just a case of where to start! save a little then go travelling? go and work abroad? start on the serious career ladder who knows? i sure don't. i've trawelled the internet looking for jobs but the all seem to be for the same thing! it'd help if i knew what i was looking for!
