i would have to agree, for future proofing its the best way to go, sky should start releasing HDTV broadcasts in the next two years.

same here as sky is going to go over to it soon 
is the price that spectacular , tiny have been selling at this price for a while and richer sounds are doing a LG 42" plasma for £999 , sorry for dissing your thread etccarmageddon

30000 hours at 12 hours a day is just shy of 7 years , i reckon i would be after something else in that time , and anyway , cant you just get the plasma recharged ?????????
