Your question makes it sound like we've left them somewhere

Mine had a habit of wandering off. I'm meeting her shortly for a coffee and chat. Haven't got a card yet

Re: did you remember your mum today
Got my mum a bunch of flowers (she lives 240 miles away), and called her as always...
Sent my sister a bunch of flowers from her girls (always pays to look after your sis, and she lives 240 miles away too).
Got my wife some flowers from me and our as yet unborn child (due in 13 weeks).
It was worth it to see her face....

Re: did you remember your mum today
Well I sorted out my mother-in-law as requested by my husband..
I get up this am and do I get made a cup of tea?No.
Do I get flowers?No.
Do I even get wished Happy Mothers Day?No.
I'm strongly tempted to b*gger back to bed instead of feeding him later when he rolls in from the pub.And if he thinks anything like a box of chocs or mangled flowers from the garage will do he can forget it...
I'll sort myself out summat later in the week....

Re: did you remember your mum today
Got my Mum a DVD (Ladies in Lavender cos she was too poorly to see it at the cinema) and sent her some flowers. Went to see her today as she had her op last Thursday - we've been round to her every day since last Wednesday! We're taking both the Mums out in a couple of weeks as they are both busy around now!
Paul's Mum got flowers sent too and 2 bread maker recipe books - she was well pleased with those - bet I know what we're having for tea on our next visit!
Still waiting for the visit from my 2 - well only one actually as the eldest phoned earlier to say she wasn't feeling well

this seems to be the norm for those who have been married long enough to have teenagers. My hubby did the same to me he will pay later on though I will just wait.

I think its a bit sad that we have to consider ourselves 'cheap' if we dont spend massive amounts on holidays like this
