Lottery Scratch Cards

Has anyone won big on these? The company that i work for brought over 300 cards as an incentive and the most someone won was a fiver!

Now don't get me wrong people won a pound two pounds but no more than FIVE POUNDS.

What a con.

What's the most you have one if you play?

I sold him the card. he nearly fell over when he scratched it off.. i felt so happy for him, if a little jealeous..

Bingo seems the way to go for winning money, they always seem to be winning

My wife won £16 on one which isnt a lot but its a lot more than most have.

May be something to do with the fact that she BOUGHT the card and not BROUGHT it

Re: Lottery Scratch Cards

My wife won £100 a few years ago.

One of the Camelot adverts has a picture of a guy who won £50,000 on a scratch card. He used to work for me but unfortunately won it a few years later or I might have had a pint or two out of him.

Re: Lottery Scratch Cards

Only buy them on rare occasions, none for over a year that I can remember, but have had one for £66 and one £250.

Re: Lottery Scratch Cards

I won £1 once. Waste of money in my opinion.
Competitions seem to be more my thing after winning my Ipod.

Re: Lottery Scratch Cards

I know someone that picked up a half-scratched card off the counter of a shop (one of those with 9 symbols, it had only had the first 6 scratched off).

He finished scratching the symbols off and ended up winning £125,00.

Very nice too, paid for his house

Re: Lottery Scratch Cards

I work at the local newsagents and my mate (the bosses son) is addicted to instants and has worked it out that it is roughly every 6 cards for winner on the £1 ones. Some one apparently went into a local supermarket and bought a whole pack (thats like £200), not sure if they won anything.
