Re: vacuum cleaner question

I'd say that's how long the hose reached out the back?

Re: vacuum cleaner question

I would assume it's for the 'stairs' attachment - that you can pull out and stretch...

Edit : or maybe it's how tall you have to be to reach the handle

Re: vacuum cleaner question

Either the length of the hose OR the length of the hose PLUS that of the mains cable, but I'd have thought the former - you can always use a mains cable extension.

Some sucker will know the correct answer, assuming that it has not already been given,

Re: vacuum cleaner question

I would have said that the 'reach' is the distance from the body of the hoover to the end of it's hose but 30ft seems a bit excessive, so it must be including the cable length as well in that figure.

Re: vacuum cleaner question

Is it the angle of the handle you hold.
Or the maximum distance it can suck stuff up at ?

Re: vacuum cleaner question

I think it's the total reach of pipe and cable (although I could be wrong ). I base that entirely on the fact the ours can be plugged in in the living room and will stretch all the way to the top of the stairs.

I'll go with that too - I can't recall ever seeing a vacuum cleaner with a 30 foot hose

Re: vacuum cleaner question

and the correct answer is , the length off the cable and hose together , not much use when the hose only reached halfway up the stairs , anyway i was expecting a stand up argument at comet , but they agreed the box was misleading and gave a refund no q's asked
