What what was? You still haven't told us what the sentence that needed translating was. And you what? Never mind Welsh, I'm having difficulty with your English ..

Is it true that the Welsh for "Hello Darling" is "Baaaaaa"?

Oh .... sorry. I thought it was something difficult
I was at Uni in Wales, I just read ' Nadolig llawn a blwyddyn newydd dda!' for what it means and assumed it was something else you wanted translating. (Anyone involved in a club or society at a Welsh university tended to pick up 'poster Welsh' fairly quickly as these things all had to be bilingual and it saved having to give stuff to the Student Union translator).
