Christmas Present Calamities.

Christmas is nearly here again and you may buy someone a present that after the event you wished you hadn't. What presents have you bought that the recipient gave you one of those looks after opening it?

Several years ago I asked my wife what she would like for Christmas and she replied with "something gold". You should have seen her face when she opened her presents and found a "Classical Gold" album set and a box of Terrys Old Gold chocolates.

Re: Christmas Present Calamities.

well it could have been worse,

You did have something made of real gold hidden away nearby, didn't you? Or did you just fancy living dangerously.

Reminds me of an ex girlfriend I once went out with who was a hairdresser. When she cut my hair this one time, I asked for a "number 2 all over".

Imagine my surprise when she started to smear dog poo all over my head.

Never happened at Christmas though.
