I was just wondering - advice from a MOD please

I fully appreciate that this is a family site but I have a question (or rather a post which will seek to gain a consensus of opinion) on what is essentially a matter of some delicacy.

Normally (being the upfront and forthright person that I am) I would just come straight out and ask but I don't want to offend.

It is possible to seek opinion on the matter by referring to it loosly and hoping that the more adult members of CF will understand what I mean but I don't want to upset anybody and end up with a tarnished reputation

If I promise to be (ahem) delicate about it, would you have any objections to me posting a rather personal topic here?

If you need more details then please let me know

As with all things of this nature, you will probably find that your interpretation of "good" will depend upon the level to which your anticipation has been built by a combination of the waiting and your own hightened expectations.

My advice is not to expect too much, you may be dissapointed
