Finding lost car keys
Following on from Dave Stones' key thread, whatever happened to those whistling key rings? You know, the ones that you attached your car key to and, when you couldn't find the car key, you whistled and the key ring chirped back. I suspect that, to be honest, they were pretty useless.

Re: Finding lost car keys
Well eventually the batteries ran out, and then no one could find them again to replace them...

Re: Finding lost car keys
you can still get them, they have them in our local pound shop.
The trouble is they go off at the slightest noise - not just a whistle.

Re: Finding lost car keys
Can I suggest a big fluffy toy on the keyring instead?
They usually stop it going down the armchair sides & are easily enough found.

Re: Finding lost car keys
Just put them BACK where they are supposed to be kept.
I go ape when people refuse to do this. That way they NEVER forget because me in a beserker rage is not forgettable.Sometimes it pays to be anal about something.

My view exactly. Strangely enough, when I tell my wife this (OK, in my smuggest tone of voice), it seems to annoy her - I really don't know why.
