This is a new scheme where you can register your mobile details in the event of it getting stolen. They're the only such group who the police endorse and if it gets nicked you can use the site to add the information to the Stolen Equipment National Database which will increase the chances of getting it back. I was interested to see these views, I am the MD of the company that run the MEND database on behalf of the major Police forces in the UK. If anybody requires further confirmation of the validity of the service run a search on google and look at the official police sites we are on, you dont get that sort of authentication without jumping through a lot of security hoops! Thanks.
