Long Spaghetti
I wasnt quite sure where to post this, so feel free to move it if there is indeed a special "Pasta" forum
I was wondering, does anyone know why everywhere we look, we can never find the longer variety of Spaghetti, we are cooking Spagetti Bolognaise at the moment and look in dismay at the length of the spaghetti which is about half the length of the "proper stuff". Does it pose a health and safety problem, is it politically incorrect, or do they think we just can't/don't eat the stuff in this country!?

Re: Long Spaghetti
Think it's been banned because someone used it to strangle someone...

Re: Long Spaghetti
Sainsburys have them too.... but only Buitoni Spaghetti.... so if you don't mind who makes them.... shouldn't be a problem
Personally think the Barilla Spaghetti Lunghi ones are better

Which brings to mind the episode from that TV series (whose name always eludes me) where the murder weapon, a frozen leg of lamb, was cooked and served (unknowingly, of course) to the investigating detective.

Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected - the episode was called Lamb To The Slaughter and starred Susan Penhaligon (I think)
