International mobile calling rates
I'm away on holiday for a week tomorrow, wondered if anyone knew how much it's likely to cost to use my mobile from the Canary Islands, it's on Orange PAYG, also, how much it'll cost me for people to ring me.
Cheers

That's putting it mildly...
A complete rip-off if you ask me...

Well, it's only for emergencies anyway. Thanks for the info.

Re: International mobile calling rates
Anyone calling your mobile when it is in the Canaries will pay just the same as they would if you were at home.

Re: International mobile calling rates
Remember that it will probably be you who pays the cost of the diverted call "addition" from a UK to foreign destination. The person calling you pays the rate to connect to a UK number, you pay the transfer from UK to abroad. Either don't switch you phone on, and don't answer it when you are abroad, or make sure you really have plenty of credit on it.

Re: International mobile calling rates
If it's unlocked, can you purchase a local PAYG Sim?
