Technetix Supplier
Hi All,
Can anyone tell me where I can buy Technetix stuff? (Or alternatives) I'm looking for a TV/DATA isolator. (Actually, ideally a FM/TV/DATA isolator if they exist...)
Either real shops in Glasgow or somewhere online...
Thanks a lot,
Adam

Re: Technetix Supplier
Hi Monkeybreath,
Wow, that was quick :-)
I'd already found the website, but got no reply from my email and I can't find them to buy anywhere else :-(
Any ideas?

Re: Technetix Supplier
does it have to be a technetix part or will any part that does the same thing do?

Re: Technetix Supplier
No, anything will do! I've got broadband, but have realised that the "simple" TV channels come down the wire too, so would like to split them so I don't have to keep unscrewing the cable.

Re: Technetix Supplier
MB,
If I want to take the analogue signal from the back of my STB (or VCR) off another room via coax is this the sort of splitter I would need? http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...ldID=&doy=3m11

Re: Technetix Supplier
Who... me?
I have never found a retail supplier for Technetix kit and they seem very good at keeping quiet about retail enquiries.
That said, many of the parts appear to be standard and are available from a number of sources - Maplin being the most obvious, if not the cheapest.
I am sure if I explained in detail how to do this I would get my ear bent by a number of NTL staff. And, to be honest, judging by the intelligence of many customers that post queries on here, I would be unwise to do so. That said, it's not that difficult and, if you have a brain, you can work it out yourself. Just use quality gear and remember, when it all goes wrong, whose fault it is. For example, I wouldn't use the splitter listed above - it looks cheap and nasty to me.

Re: Technetix Supplier
Hi,
I can visit Maplin, although the stuff on the Technetix website looks better quality. I was looking at:
http://site4.visuality.info/product....id=1190&sid=22
I had assumed that I need one of these "isolator" type adaptors, but would the maplin item above work for me too?
Adam
P.S. I've not seen a 3-way FM/TV/Data splitter, which would be ideal for me - do these exist?
