The Oscars. Or more specifically, the statuette itself. Someone here reckons the actors never actually get to keep them, they are only 'rented' free of charge to the winners until they die, in which case they are 'given back'. This is given some credability whne you realise we never hear of a winner having his/her award auctioned or sold after their death.
As far as I know they are allowed to keep them. Harold Russell auctioned off his Oscar, but now actors have to sign an agreement that they will not sell them.
EDIT: Steven Spielberg brought Clark Gables oscar after his death.
