Fancy beating the rush hour?
How cool is this - I could get out of bed at twenty past eight and land at work for half past!

Re: Fancy beating the rush hour?
Nem - have you seen that car!!!???
Braggers rights for being the coolest person in Scunthorpe would mean that I wouldn't actually have to do any work
Mind you, I think it's fair to say that I'm the coolest person in Scunthorpe anyway!

'coolest person in Scunthorpe' is an oxymoron, surely

Re: Fancy beating the rush hour?
woah ... nice.
Sadly they haven't actually got one to fly in a straight line yet - and when they do, to buy one looks like costing $500,000 Pity, cos I'd love one of those!

It looks like they expect to get FAA certification for it by the end of 2006 anyway.

Re: Fancy beating the rush hour?
I wouldn't fancy having an ATA (air traffic accident) in that thing at 350+ mph .. or any other speed come to think of it...
Even if you've got AA/RAC breakdown assistance, you're going to worry a bit more about the ground hurtling towards you than you are about getting on your mobile phone

You'll be alright - it comes supplied with a parachute (and, presumably, the prayer book of your choice )
