Re: Have you been to Coronado Springs Resort

Have you tried looking on http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/ ?
I'd look for you but it's way past my bedtime - a couple of my mates use it, there's a forum where you can put down the truth about various resorts, apartments etc. Well I've used it and booked a holiday on the strength of the comments on it - I'll let you know how good it is 2 weeks on Saturday (baggage handler's strike at Gatwick permitting )

You need a full UK passport. It has to be a machine readable one (small red one). You don't need to worry about the biometric passport deadline, as it has been extended a year. I'd advise you to get a passport now rather than later though.

Re: Have you been to Coronado Springs Resort

Me and the misses are OK
My son doesn't have one yet - filled the online form yesterday and will be going via the postoffice to get a two week turnaround before the 28-10-2004 (which depending on which site you visit you need a visa or not!!)

Well there is no rush, because the biometric passport deadline is 28/10/05. If you get a non-biometric passport after that 05 deadline, you need a visitor's visa. All existing passports before that deadline are OK. And yeah, should have mentioned all kids need their own passport regardless of age. One other thing, all passports need to have at least 6 months use beyond your return leg on them.

Depends on which website you read as many state that you need a visa for passports (Machine Readable) need a visa after 28-10-04 (just shows how usa and uk cannot get their acts together)
