You have to pay full fare on the bus (happened today - couldn't believe it! the b@stard wouldn't let me on!) but instead of huffing and puffing I smiled and said 'really?' as I realised - I'm growing up!
He must have thought I was a loon

I didn't realise full fare was 16 for ages- well for a few months after I was 16 anyway  thought it was 18...
