Best Holiday Ever ?
Going on from the Holiday thread, what is everyone's best holiday you have been on ? Might give me some inspiration for next year
Mine was 9 days in Antigua where I got married with 18 relatives and friends present, followed by 9 days in St Lucia on honeymoon. Helicopter ride, sun, sea, a wedding and swimming with dolphins.....superb.

3 days at niagara falls (canadian side), followed by 9 days in Jamaica at an all inclusive, couples only, resort. Met some good friends (well they weren't before I met them, obviously) and had a great time.
Funnily enough - that was my honeymoon

Either Florida last year, did all the rounds of Disneyland, Universal etc etc or Tenerife in 2002 with bb31, all inclusive holiday which was spent getting disgustingly drunk and various escapades

Re: Best Holiday Ever ?
2 weeks in Orlando in 2002 (also went in 2000) Stayed at Walt Disney World, had great weather for most of the two weeks.Went to Kennedy Space Center which was a great day out and well worth the coach journey. Had a lot of fun just wandering around Walt Disney World itself but we also went into Orlando to have a look at the shops LOL

Re: Best Holiday Ever ?
2 weeks in Goa ( India ) in November 1995. Just after the monsoon season... everything lush inland.
Lovely people, fantastic wildlife and gorgeous beaches.
Night out including copious amounts of beer and a curry for less than £4.00.

Two weeks at the World Cup in France during 98 with Scotland.

Really? - I went to Istanbul, last year, and I didn't enjoy it - I found that everyone seemed to be out to either rip us off, or sell us a carpet... maybe it's just Istanbul?

Possibly. After all you wouldn't want everyone to judge the whole of the UK on the basis of a visit to London would you?
Going off the beaten track to newer less touristy areas is the best way.
